I really did not want this to be one of my first post kind of back b/c this really devastating news. One of the Dopest DJ's has passed away. It has def not been a good summer many people have gone to soon but I guess that is God's message and they have done all they needed to do while being here. If you do not know who DJ AM is he is really well known for mixing up some of the dopest tracks with all different style of music. He was actually touring with Travis Barker and last year is when they both survived that plane crash. He also had a part in the DJ Hero game that will coming out soon. It is crazy how things happen he is well respected in music from Rock To Hip Hop he was also a very big Sneakerhead saw him the commercial with Kobe and Mike Epps. Anyway just some more sad news RIP DJ AM one of the best.
I know I have been very MIA recently with the blog and havent posted anything and its not fair to many of you but I just been caught with alot of BS. With work and School recently been very tied up latley trying to figure out what the hell I am doing with my life and getting ready for classes, O YEA my laptop has went crazy on me so basically ALL my info and stuff I had stored for future post will be delayed hopefully by next week I will up and running with new post and everything and Laptop back to normal. Ive been gettin a lot of music sent to me lately but as I said before most of its garbage or they don't send it to me correctly with information I need to know. I get a email from this local rapper Morgan team and they came correct. This is something different her flow is pretty dope I listen to her myspace and I would call her a poet her world play is dope. You can here her DMV in her and she brings that out in her tracks, she spits with passion which I love to hear. Morgan is definitely going be on the come up in the DMV so keep look out. They sent me three tracks "F U" , "Right But Wrong", "Jus Chillen", Out of all the tracks Jus Chillen is the hardest but if you hit her myspace she has this track Accept ME which I rock with.

Do you like Hip Hop? Do you like the Boondocks also? Then this is for you. My boy Knowledge keeps the classic Hip-Hop feel the whole way thru. His style to me reminds me of your Slum Village, Pharcyde and etc. He uses some classic scenes from the Cartoon Boondocks created my Aarron McGruder in some of the tracks. I get sent a lot of mixtapes and many of them are BS I will let you know now but you can see the time this take with this project here.
They are many tracks that stood out for me : Diamond Rap, King Poetic and Ode to Escapism. These three stood out to me the most because to me were the overall the best that completed the album production wise and lyrically wise.

I got a great opportunity to take part in this Heineken Red Star Soul Event held at DC night Club Ibiza. I met a lot of great people that night and it was real chill. The Heineken people did a great job in this promotion with this event with Ludacris , DJ Clark Kent, and Melanie Fiona. Comedian Brandon T Jackson was the host of night who had me cracking up most of the night.
All of the artist I interviewed were real chill and enjoyed my time even though both Clark and Luda both FRIED me over my "TASER" of a recorder. Melanie Fiona Canadian artist who opened up for Ludacris was just lovely, answered many of my questions before they hit me with the wrap it up sign it was all good. The 1 on 1 we had was dope I have to admit though I got lost in her eyes during the whole interview lol. I also ran into Tabi Bonney there who was just showing some support but let me get a interview for the blog.
This was actually my first event and it ran pretty smooth, the free BREWSKIS did help me also loosen up with the interviews ha. I have some dope footage of everything but I am currently editing everything so All i have for you today are pictures and audio.
Many of you might actually be happy about OPRAH finally bringing a rapper on her show. NOT ME technically he is not on her show just on the Marcy Steps with her their lol. But anyway really I do not think Oprah still likes the Hip Hop community at all. If you do not know Oprah did not allow any rappers on her show, when the cast of the movie collateral came she did not invite Ludcaris there and did not want them there. Ludacris did end up coming on the show and Oprah went at him besides even talking about the movie and his role just cornered him as a rapper and that's it and why rappers use the word "Bitches" and etc. Many of you may say because its Jay Z but I still don't believe it the only reason why she has him on the show is maybe because Beyonce and that's it. If i were Jay and has one the kings of hip hop I would ask her why does she not like us rappers, I understand why he wont because of publicity for the BP3 coming out but he should bring up something.I don't like Oprah and never will because she treats many of hip hop and belittles them. As someone who loves hip hop Oprah we don't want you and we do not need your help. A lot of you may I am crazy for this but its true this might actually help later on and get more MC's on her show but I still will not support her.
Support the DMV and vote for these cats show them some love we outchea we doing big things its been a great time for the DMV lately besides all the other BS that goes on around it we on the come up we getting back in the light they cant stop us and they are not ready

I was @ 930 club last night and saw a pretty dope concert with Cudi, asher, bobby ray and 88 keys. I got in pretty much to the end of 88 keys I was pretty disappointed and I tried to record some of it but 930 staff gave me the no no but I went upstairs he was real live. I met him later during cudi set but my camera died and what not. But I got some dope footage of everyone else.
Bobby Ray is something SERIOUS I always wanted to get into him and listen to his ish cuz I have heard some of it and it was DOPE. But from last night he got a new supporter this cat is very talented. From his lyrics to playing guitar and getting involved with the crowd homeboy is legit his style is great and I am def about to start downloading some of this stuff now.
Asher was right after him and I seen him before but I did not want to much of his set but it was to dope. I had to get this though because Asher was live at college park last time but he was sick he was not sick this time believe me. MAN o Man asher is my man the way he has the crowd his enthusiasm that is a concert but my man brought out like 10 costumes lol like where do you get these things. Anyway it was live like usual he brought the females on stage started partying up did some of the same skits from last time but still live and epic.
The Grand Finally Came with your boy Kid Cudi haha. This guy.. I turned into a cudi supporter later but he has a huge fan base and just not Day N Nite cats. He had his crowd going a lil shorter and did not play everything but the light show and his set up for his set was dope. It was like a junior varsity version of Kanye's Glow in the Dark Tour lol. Still dope nonetheless I was really enjoy his set but whats the Cudder without a little spazzin lol he went in on couple of the haters and what not and other bloggers who tried to go on him and etc.. I did not get this cuz my damn camera died still blown but I know someone who did so hopefully she emails me. The only thing I have to tell the Cudder is that keep away from the mic let it breathe, I could barely here him on some songs because he held it so close

Ight I read this before from mediatakeout butI really did not believe it because they do not always have the right stuff but then I saw on hypebeast talk about it also so when you have two sources your good. Kanye x Jordan = Epic. With the Yeezy's dropping and the craziness with that imagine Jordan with Kanye a lot of folks might go crazy.
