F*** Vibe
Well a lot of BS been going on with Vibe lately with a lot of there decision and actually they have been making bad decisions for a long time. Vibe is pretty wack to me anyway and I don't believe they are a heavy contender in Magazines at all anymore. With online sites/bloggers (i.e ME lol) taking over much of where people find out the hottest new artist and things that are going on many magazines will go obsolete because they are the main one setting us back to actually with music because they are not putting on folks that deserve it who and who are killing it right now. Kevin Robinson who is the Creative Director over at uncovered3rd and PR for artist like Dom Kennedy and his team has sent me over great new upcoming artist who are crazy talented goes on a little spazz rant ( which I always enjoy because we need more of them) goes on the BS and FUCKERY known as VIBE. They told my man "Dom Doesn't Fit anywhere in there Magazine" LOL i laugh at this statement because what the hell who fits in your HIP HOP URBAN MAGAZINE, he is giving you a shot to get a hold of him now!! And you dont take it? I dont understand any of it lol, do they not see the tours, the videos and all other grind work going on in Dom Kennedy Camp which has blown up. Kevin kept it real and this was must needed to be put out. Check it out and make sure yall let vibe know no one cares for them anymore and stop swindling folks and shout out to patisdope because I saw what happen over there too.

Cake & Kisses began in August 2007, as a monthly hip hop night featuring both local and national talent. Known for its eclectic atmosphere, C&K showcases emcees, bands, singers, DJs, and spoken word artists all under the same roof, on the same bill. The entire evening revolves around an “organic open mic” led by Enoch 7th Prophet (event host). The mic is open to anyone artist who wants to have fun in the cypher.

Fresh Daily - The Quiet Life
The Funny thing is I have heard about Fresh Daily for long time actually and wasnt aware of his music as I occasionally saw what I believe was his blog a while back, I am dissapointed in myself as a blogger I did not check into it a lot more but I am glad I was sent this project "The Quiet Life" now I am interested to look into some his older work.
The Quiet Life is Dope project, Fresh Daily has a real refreshing flow to hear from an MC out of NY and def stands out from the others. You would believe by his name and style you would think you know what Fresh whole persona is about but he is far away from what you expect and you can not put him in box with many of these rappers i.e the "backpack rappers"
Couple tracks I believe you sould check out are "The Quiet Lif"e, "DoWhatTheyWon't ", "Say Yes" (Scratch That) Pretty Much every track is SOLID and good production, good lyrics just over all good project.

Inspiring the Film: Michael Rapaport, Director of “Beats, Rhymes & Life: The Travels of a Tribe Called Quest”
This is pretty dope that they are dropping ATCQ documentary it just shows how far Hip Hop has come, If you are a true Hip Hop head you must know about them and there influence on the game. Michael Rapport who is the Director of this film is known well in Hip Hop and a great actor, he gets a lot of flack I guess cause he was white but he always been the cool Jewish cat. From movies like Bamboozled and ZebraHead he has played some major roles. He just discusses in this film what made him decide to make this film and why it was so important to actually do so. I will definitely need to see this film when I can.

Odd Future Takes over London
